The first word of your wisdom being "RevTech" answers it all and just how much you really do know about oil.

Use it in your bike and good luck!

Do some research yourself and find out what you are talking about before posting on the net.

Check some of the oil tests and see if they even list Rev tech oil in their tests. Even you may learn something.

Back the truck up man. This ain't my fight but I'll tell you this much, I have a long history with Harleys, Racing and riding, I'm also a Master tool&die maker , and I've rode for and made parts for some of the biggest in the racing world. Not that that means anything, But I'll take Glider's "Opinion" before I ever trust another Harley manual!!
As for Rev-Techs adds it's so close to what's on every bottle of sin oil these days how can you even apply it to your deciding factor. Who makes Rev-Techs oil? They don't!
I only know of 1 shop that carries it and they won't recommend it.

Re: Trans Oil Poll

There's no way I'd put anything other than gear oil in my tranny. Gear oil is made specifically for that purpose, and has higher sheer stability. More torque=more sheering.

You're absolutely correct here, it's like the old saying about leading a horse to water.

All we can do is suggest something and from there on it's up to the individual to asses the suggestions and possibly try the product.
There is however a difference in what people want to use based on hearsay from others and trying a product that has been used by someone with enough sense to differentiate between hype and fact.
