NO it is a SNY .
I have the redline in both mine now I bet not much different than Spectro.
The redline is a 70W80 but works the same as
70w,75w80w and SEA30,10w30 and 5w30 oils.
I have riden boith mine in 25 degree weather sence the change with not problem.
There are 3 or 4 oil and lube companys I trust
Spectro and redline are the first two M1 with thier m1 Vtwin is the third.

I use Spectro 20/50 Platium full sny in both my bikes I will keep using it .
Results have been great for me The Spectro hold a bit better Oil pressure in extreme heat than M1 did.
And I used Spectro Platium gear lube in both also.
I used REDLINE shock proof heavy in the FB 5 speed but switch so I would not have to stock both.
The blended 20/50 gold is IMO not the best

Thanks for the tip, I would rather use the same brand all the way around just to make one stop.

When it comes to 100% true sny oils and lube The few top quialty brands like Spectro, Redline,M1 ect are all very good.
The one major difference is in gear lubes for 6 speeds IMO SPECTRO is by far number 1. Not that the others will not server you well.

Re: Trans Oil Poll

first good cold ride sence I switched to redline SNY primary lube.
It was 33 degrees out felt like a warm day.
Any concerns I may have had about the lube in the cold have been put to rest.
So far The stuff is passing the test
