Re: Trans Oil Poll
My 1000 mile service will be next week. SPECTRO Heavy Duty 6 speed Platinum is on the way! Never tried it, been a fan of Mobil One Gear lube. I still use Mobil One in the crank but will try this as recommended. I am looking forward to seeing hopefully good results. Hard to go away from what has worked, but this is my first 6 speed and the experienced members have spoken! LOL!

Spectro Platium 20/50 engine oil is a 100% sny that also works very well for the big HD twin. M1 20/50 for vtwins is a great oil but the Spectro is a better motorcycle engine oil. I noticed right away that the Spectro engine oil quieted down the engine noise that is common with sny engine oils. I also beleave the REDLINE products are very good way to go also. Once you get down to REDLINR, M1 and Spectro your in a close race just that Spectro comes out in front.

I've been using Syn 3. Based on the comments I would like to try the Spectro but it's not available locally. Guess I will try to locate some Mobil 1 75/90. Thanks for the good info.
