Re: Engine Oil Poll

New to Harley. Plan on using Mobil 1 products: 20W-50 in motor and 10W-40 in Primary.
I'll most likey have to use a different brand in the tranny since I haven't found anyone that carries the gear oil. Possibly Castrol syn or Amsoil.

I've never seen an Auto Zone up here in Canada; definitely not one in Manitoba. NAPA and Auto Value Parts stores we have. It's just going to take some phoning and internet searching to find who has what.

Amsoil I know the Saxon dealer in Selkirk carries; 45 minute drive. My local parts stores have QS and the ESSO bulk doesn't carry any syns. Not too many choices in the boonies.

At least when I'm ever in the States I'll know where to find it.

Thanks.

Some stores keep it in back and you have to ask for it. If not they can get it for you if you have them order it, usually takes 2 days.

Re: Engine Oil Poll

I'm using Valvoline 60W. Good oil, inexpensive, easy to find.

Re: Engine Oil Poll

Valvoline Max Life 20w-50 - Same as I use in my boat and my truck. You can see the difference in the higher readings on the oil pressure gage in the boat and truck.
