Yes he did I leave the redline in for now and use up the rest of the redline in my FB thats a 5 speed.
I put about 200 miles on today it seems a few miles makes the redline work better

I use Amsoil 20/50 in the motor. It runs cooler and is quieter than what was in it from the factory.

I just been told a pure synthetic is wasting money on an engine with 10,000+ miles on it.so its got tpo be manufacturers spec I'm afraid.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind this. The synthetic oils stand up to a higher temp without breaking down unlike dino oils.At 250* the dino oil is already starting to deteriorate. The syn oils surpass this temp by a very large margin before starting to run into a problem. The temps on the dipstick are only part of the picture. The oil temp inside the motor and running through the piston oil jets can be very much higher than 300*

OK,so I'm a bit thick,I am right in thinking I can change to the mobil v twin,and it will be problem free?And the stuff I was told wqas inaccurate to say the least?

Don't know what problems you were expecting but yes, changing to Mobil 1 will not cause any problems.

Glider,you're a gem,I want to to the best by my bike,and the info I'd recieved was I was totally wasting my money on mobli1 cause the damage has been done already,you can imagine the sweat that brought out on my brow!damage!damage!ohmygod,........you get the picture.Now I can rest easy,wear n tear isnt about damage,and the synthetics will minimise that,even after 20,000.THANKYOU!!
