Oil Coolers

There has been a lot of talk lately about heat and oil coolers. I just went on Harleys web site http://www.harleydavidson.com and they have a new cooler on there that they call the turbulator the blow up of the fin design looks more effective then others that I have seen and its not as ugly as a lot that are out there

Re: Oil Coolers

Hmm. I put a Jaggs/Setrab 10-row low mount oil cooler on my '03 UC. Used the oil filter adapter with the built-in thermostat. Here is the link to that alternative:

FLH 10-row Horizontal Lowmount Oil Coolers - Jagg Oil Coolers

TQ

I agree it looks good. I am going to eventually put one on. I sure can't hurt.

You should check out your options so that you can make an informed decision. I personally have had a very good experience dealing with the Setrab/Jagg products and people when I have called for support. Here is their recommendation for Softails:

Jagg Horizontal 6-Row Low-mount Oil Cooler Kits - Jagg Oil Coolers

TQ

He has an Ultra, so he is probably referring to this one:

Harley-Davidson | Accessories And Apparel | Genuine Motor Accessories

I've run the HD version on all but 1 of my bikes since '99 with no complaints. I never tested the temps, just thought they made sense.
