Welcome aboard Hogie, glad to have you here. You are on the right track on your search. Take your time, look at lots & lots of bikes, the one you like best will keep catching your eye, (at least that was the case for me) and you will eventually narrow it down to a couple, and then the right bike will talk to you, you will know.

Thanks, to all for the replies. I just finished day one of the Rider's Edge course and will keep you posted on my choice. I am looking to rent a few different models as soon as possible

I just bought my first harley and I absolutely love the street glide. I rented several different bikes before making my decision. Also spent alot of time on this site for answers to my questions. Good luck and welcome to the harley family!
