Hello from Maple Ridge BC

I thought I would join this site as I have found lots of great information and advice here.

My first street bike was a Honda CB 125 which I licenced at 16 and have been riding ever since.

My present ride is an 08' Electraglide Classic which just reached 10,000 clicks. No problems to speak of and it rides like a dream. This is Harley #4 for me and hopefully the last one I will ever buy. Started off with a Sportster in 98' then two years later, traded up to a 00' Electraglide Standard. Damn fine motorcycle and rode it all over until 2002 when I happended across a brand new black Fatboy in the showroom while I was having a tire replaced.... Common sense went out the window as is often the case in love at first sight and the the Electraglide was replaced by the Fatboy. Fast forward three years later, sold the Fatboy and thought I would get out of motorcycles for a while as too expensive, not practical, whatever....

After not riding for a couple of years, I could resist the bug no longer and suggested to my wife that we might get another bike in a year or two. She suggested we get one now rather than wait and I couldn't argue with that kind of brilliant logic. I was going to get another Standard but the wife insisted on an Electraglide Classic because the passenger accomodations were a little more comfortable for her.

Took delivery in end of July last year and absolutely love this bike. We have done lots of little trips around BC but leaving in two weeks for a trip down through Utah and Nevada then back up through California and Oregon. We are pretty excited.

Only mods done are stage One and oil cooler. Anyways, thats my 2 cents worth. We are looking forward to our trip to the States and meeting lots of new folks on the road. Ride safe...
