30 Years in the wind..1st HD

From the early British bikes to later Jap models such as Honda St1100's, a couple of Gold Wings with the last three bikes all being Valkyrie's..awesome bikes.
I got an offer on my last Valk that was to good to pass up and it gave me a chance to do something I have always wanted and that was to get a Harley...yeah yeah I know...just another Wannabe.
So anyway off to check out the bikes and it came to a choice between a Road King and the Ultra...the Ultra won the race as I enjoy long distance Touring. So am now the peoud owner of a 2008 Ultra Classic, also added a Stage 1 kit and is in Candy Sunglo color.
Lots of diff to the Valk, better in some areas, not so good in others..first change will be to put a taller screen on as I was just about deafened by the buffetting...gave me a real bad headache...first time ever on a bike, I am 6'2" and am long in the body so sit high on the bike, other than that i loved the ride home

Howdy, welcome to the forum.

Harley makes a 2" over screen that uses the existing hardware, may help you out there.
