Hello Everyone, glad to be a part of the community. I have been riding since 1972 when I bought my first sportster. Not a real good experience, lots of oil leaks and problems. Rode Hondas for a few years and then got back into the Harley world. Never to stray again. I have been a mechanic all my life plus a number of years as the Boss. I try to do all of my own repairs. Replaced cams in my Deuce and in the process of putting a big bore kit in my ultra. Usually try to take a major trip at least once a year. Been to Sturgis, Daytona, and Rolling Thunder. Have some great friends in Missouri that we meet up with and ride. Danny is the one who introduced me to this web site about a month ago when we were visiting them in Missouri. I live in Rosanky Texas which is about 50 miles southeast of Austin. My riding buddy and I started the Smithville Thunder on the Colorado rally 2 years ago. We have had 2 very successful rallies. It all started out at a mexican food resturant in Smithville when the Chamber of Commere lady asked how we could put Smithville on the map and of course my buddy and I said have a motorcycle rally and the rest is history. Guess I had better cut it off for now. Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of your world.......LP

Stupid Stupid Me..I just realized who you are>>>I was reading the post about famous people ya met...and I thought ...I met John as well when I was riding with my friends from Texas....Geez..Judy of course thought it was funny as well...Hey how you guys doing...and man I hate hearing about the trailer problems...can I go over to where you got the unit and get anything?...Are you still having the problem?..When are "We" going to Alaska????...lol..Its ok I can ask ..Judys not around....lol
