Awsome website fella's

Hello all,

I found this website when I was searching info on how to install the hands free security system into my 2007 FXSTC I bought it in August of '07 and have put close to 3000 miles on it so far. I've been riding motorcycles on and off for the last 17 years but this is my first Harley. Me and my fiance took it to Lake of the Ozarks bike week back in september and had so much fun. We're looking forward to doing alot more of that in the future. Oh and by the way I did everything that it said to do to marry the tssm to the bike and I couldn't get it to work . Has anyone tried installing one on an '07 yet?

Howdy and welcome to the forum tyrex.

Those security systems can be a pain to setup but the procedure must be followed to the "T" for it to work.

Hey Tyrex, welcome to the forum. Great help here, and as Glider says, follow the directions to a 'T'. With the marrying process, use a battery tender if you have it, when you start the sequence, the engine & security light come on for the 3 or 4 seconds and then go off, then the security light will come back on after a few more seconds. Watch the lights closely and follow the steps immediately. The self help pages are golden here.

Re: Awsome website fella's

Ya I found the how to do it here. I did hook up a tender too it since I worked on it for almost 5 hours. But my problem was that the security light came on but never shut off nor would it even try to crank over even once. Now I did notice that when I put the old tsm back in it too did the same thing untill I went through and cleared all of the codes. Which I did not do before trying to marry the tssm. I may try to do that this weekend. Anyways nice to meet all of you and i'm sure i'll be around quite a bit.
