Cool So I should introduce myself....

Hi everybody let me first say this is a great forum I am really glad I found it.

Y'all can call me "THE" (long story about my nickname) and if you are ever in the Allegheny mountains of PA (between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg Johnstown to be exact) drop me a line. We have a rally here in jtown called "Thunder in the Valley" (this is only my 4th post so I can't put a link up just google it)
Lots of fun in the old fashioned biker way. It is always the 3rd week of June and the population of this old steel town doubles when everybody comes rollin in.

I ride an Orange & Black 2007 Nightster which I have done some upgrades to. Mostly cosmetic so far with the HD motor company derby and timer covers, grips etc. Cycle Shack slip ons, K&N air filter with a vivid black cover. 2up Sidekick custom seat (so the wife can ride, but now she wants an 883 roadster!) forward controls.

Future mods include a power commander and whitewall tires.

I lost my job in December and around here jobs are really tough to find unless you don't mind the whole "you want fries with that" scene. I am starting to get a little nervous about the bike payments (and the rest of my finances) but I will get by.

I am also a deadhead. I see why there is a brotherhood of bikers. Going to a rally is almost like going to a dead show, i mean the sense of community is there and it is actually better if you ask me. I know there are guys at rallys that are there for the buzz, but most aren't. I can take my kid to a bike event and not worry that some stoned butthole is gonna mess with him, couldn't do that at a dead show.... Anyway off the soapbox, I mentioned that because I still listen to the music and love the music, but riding and the brother/ sisterhood of "bikers" has filled a void in my life that has been there for 12 years.

Anyway............ I guess that is a good enough introduction looking forward to talking and riding with y'all once the snow melts

Have a Grateful day THE

Welcome THE... enjoy yourself at the forum. A great place to hang out while we all wait (OK, some of us) for the snow to disappear!
