This gives me the opportunity to thank you personally for all the tech info you have generously posted in forums Glider. It's most altruistic, yet at great sacrifice to your time, but it's sincerely most most appreciated

Bill

I'm glad that you found some useful info in the self help forum. I try to give a sampling of the common problems and their solutions.
If you or anyone has an area that would need some attention that isn't covered in there yet, feel free to contact me and tell me where I could improve the section.

Enjoy yourself .

Welcome Bill from the lurker's corner! Glad you found some solid info here for your next bike (don't worry about Glider, he just LOVES to show the rest of us up on how much he knows... I think he's a robot). Let us know when you pick up that next ride, and of course, pics of her when ya do!

Enjoy the forum,

and Ride Safe!

Your not only a scholar in the ways of the 'hog', ... but a gentleman sir...

Fraid I've lived on memories for far too many years, but a couple of pics of my beloved..... and the wife [JK ] Fraid I'm a gross shadow of my old self now, many pounds heavier, and no hair [well, not on the top of my head anyways ]
These were taken early 80's The bike in the background is my dads black shadow 'bobber'

No worries Bill... it is a shame though when we lose the hair on our heads, and yet it starts sprouting out our ears and nose. I think it's just a cruel joke. Just please, avoid the "comb over"... it never looks natural. Just ask Donald Trump.

Enjoy the forum, and thanks for sharing those pics of the past! Nothing like looking back on some great memories!

Ride Safe!

Thanks trashy2, bless you..
Fraid putting 'right before wrong' got me [further] disabled . This time last year, my wife son & myself executed a citizens arrest on a punk who shot at our home [our son, Jr, got showered in glass]. Whilst executing this arrest got pushed back-wards and 'poped' 3 ligaments in my left [good] leg, 2 fractures and cartilage damaged. The meds are still not sure what to do, BUT am determined to get on 2 wheels before I need stabilisers completly...
Little Jamie [our grandson], and our 'fur-kids' [our rescue 'boxer's] Cassie & Toby keep our spirits and humour high, true blessings indeed
