My son bought a Sportster when he cam back from Iraq at the end of 2006--After a heart attack summer of that same year, I wanted one and my wife bought a Springer for me. Now my son is back in Iraq, so his bike is in our shed-and I'm learning to ride my Springer. No fear-but very careful.

Welcome to the forum Don, you'll find great folks, and super info here for that Springer.
Is this your first time riding? If so, a MSF class would be a great place to start. Helps so that you don't develop any bad habits from the beginning! Post pics when you can, and look forward to seeing you around the place... Ride Safe! Hope you and your son get to do some riding together soon... when he's safely back from Iraq. |
