I ride a superglide 105 aniversary model and i wish to put foward controls on. sofar i have done the brake side and was woundering how complicated the gear change side is.Do you have to remove the primary chain case housing.

Warbird,
You have 2 options

1. Remove the inner / outer primary, clutch, etc...this'll take the right tools and pullers etc...or you'll do damage

2. A mate used a cut down hacksaw blade to cut the shaft on the engine side of the inner primary...it worked well, was slow and a pain (45 minutes)...however he then only needed to remove the outer cover and block up the holes....the inner uses a Welsh plug the hole in the outer will take many different kits to plug up...the motor company probably has something, but it's easy to make something to do the job.

Obviously you'll need or have a longer shifter arm to reach the forwards...
