Finally, living a dream
After 40+ years of saying,"Someday, I will own a Harley" I finally do!
A 2006 Road King Classic, Black Cherry and she's a beaut! Lots of chrome to polish with a beer at night in the garage. Its like dateing, not that I remember that far back. Kind of shy, taking it slow, talking, feeling her out, not up. What a ride!! Best of all the wife loves to ride on back. Just ordered the king tour pak with wrap around arms for mama. We have done more traveling since september 16, 2009(the day the dream became a reality) in arizona than we have done in the previous 12 years of living here. We live in northern az, but I have ridin susie 2 everyday so far, coldest day yet 25 degrees, not bad as I have canadian snowmobile blood in me from 12 years ago that is starting to thicken up. Welcome and hello!I know how you feel about getting your harley.I started out riding a mini bike and knew one day i would own my own hog it is like a calling.Hope you enjoy it and remember to ride safe!

Welcome aboard and enjoy your ride. It took me about 38 years to realize my dream as well. I can't imagine how I lived without riding before.

Mr T and Susie .. welcome .. I overcame my 40 year drought this year as well ... now it feels like I'm turning back the years .. except I'm still in Canada and the bike is in hibernation.
Mebbe you can send some of that warm weather up here ,, free trade and all, ya know? |
