A 2006 Road King Classic, Black Cherry and she's a beaut! Lots of chrome to polish with a beer at night in the garage. Its like dateing, not that I remember that far back. Kind of shy, taking it slow, talking, feeling her out, not up. What a ride!!
Best of all the wife loves to ride on back. Just ordered the king tour pak with wrap around arms for mama. We have done more traveling since september 16, 2009(the day the dream became a reality) in arizona than we have done in the previous 12 years of living here.
We live in northern az, but I have ridin susie 2 everyday so far, coldest day yet 25 degrees, not bad as I have canadian snowmobile blood in me from 12 years ago that is starting to thicken up.
Love this forum, love my Harley!

Hello from South Jersey and a BIG CONGRATS on finally getting your dream bike!

You've found the best Harley site there is! Enjoy!

PS: DON'T POLISH WITH BEER! USE PLEDGE! (inside scoop here on the forum....you'll find out!)

Glad to have you aboard...I had the same vision back in 1988 when I bought my Suzuki Intruder V-twin "wannabe" harley. Couldn't afford HD at the time, but wanted to get back on the seat (riding since 1979). Finally got my 1st HD when I retired from USAF active duty (05 XL1200C). This year I upgraded to my "dream bike" (09 SG). There's nothing like hitting the throttle on a cool NE morning & cruising away to where-ever. Enjoy the ride(s)...
