I had a chance to ride/testride a Harley,I thought I'd be able to say ''Yeah, I've ridden a Harley,so what?''....It was an ex-Texas highway patrol bike. A 59 Pan, stars on the bags, radio rack...oh yeah. It smoked, shook, rattled, had a serious case of ugly and I bought it the next day! I had been bitten.
Over a period of years and inarnations,it got chopped, showed, had a magazine article,a few stray pictures in mags and was ridden,a lot.
Personal faults led me to a less than perfect state of drinking,drugs,women,partying,...and so on.I made some desicions one day to go another way,I wanted to pursue my other love of custom painting and my life style was getting in the way.I sold my bike thinking I could always build another...uh,not so easy.
Some 30 years later,a chance to buy a wrecked dyna wideglide that had a lot of nice parts and the wind is starting to blow in my face again!!
...And ''here I be.'' Hopefully to learn some new ways and share some old.
