Allo from Canada

Hello out there!
I started riding in early 70s, a 1000 XLCH that I poured a lot cash into (at the time). In 1980 I bought a brand new FXWG with the factory orange flame paint. Rode that thing all over east coast Canada and Maine (I lived 2 minutes from the Hamlin border at the time).
Life kinda took over had three great kids. But when the youngest was born I sold the glide... The biggest mistake I have ever made... I missed riding, everytime I saw a bunch of bros roll past it just reminded of how much I did miss it all...
Well my youngest daughter graduated last year. One day last June I ended up at the local HD shop. I walked out with a a beautiful 06 pearl black softail Deluxe.
It is great being back in the wind. There's nothing like rolling down a stretch of twisty road on a sunny day, the wind in your face and the bugs in your teeth...

Welcome Wolfy, back to riding, as well as the forum.

As for back in the saddle... perhaps you just needed that time away to really see why you enjoyed it so much in the first place! At least you let yourself go back to it, and are enjoying the feeling again.

Ride Safe!
