cleaning plastic winsheild

What I find to work the best is using a damp sponge and a liquid wax (Fast Wax by Presta) take the bugs right off and leaves it clean and beads up in the rain. Note: paste wax in a can will not work it might but I wouldnt try it.

I've always found that once the bugs have dried on, grab a towel and soak it, drape the towel over your windscreen and let it soften all the bugs up. After about 10 - 15 minutes you'll be able to wipe the soft bugs right off with no damage at all to your screen and no chemicals required. It'll work for all those who have "treated" their screens as well.

It's no secret around the fire station that we used a little pledge to shine up the truck. always worked great.

I wouldn't use it on the windshield. Shouldn't require it anyway, it there are bugs on it, soak a towel in warm water and wring it out and put it over the shield for about 10 minutes. They come right off , then a coat of Pledge keeps them from sticking in the future.

Been using it a long time and the bugs just don't stick to the shield. A spray of a little more to clean it and they come right off.

I have tried the pledge and I am like the results. My biggest problem is the whitewalls!!

Seems like pledge is the ticket, although I have had good luck with plexus.
