Fogging gauges
Published by Silvertip (New Family)
Published date: 10-03-2008
My 2007 EGC had a gauge that always fogged up and would stay that way for days & was unreadable. I finally got mad and remebered something my old Norton had to keep it running in the rain ( long story). Anyway I got a tiny drill bit from a specialty tool store and drilled a little hole as high up on the gauge as I could but out of sight below the mounting area & in an area that will not get wet from riding or washing. It still fogs up just a bit every so often but then clears in just a few blocks, & is readable always.
