Re: RIP myfriend

I am sorry for you my riding friend. what is in the air, meaning on the road. just this past week a riding buddy of mine ask me to ride after work. I informed him I could not that day. later that evening (9:30) the call came. a driver runa red light hitting him on the left side. he is still in critical condition but he is a fighter. on top of that two more local bikers down. one from a deer, he past away the next day. the other, a lady pulled out in front of him. he also is in critical condition. At church this morning, two riding friens informed me they were selling....keep in mind we are near fifty and value what life is left. I told my wife I am not throwing in the towel yet. all ride safe be safe. I trust myself, but look over my shoulder for the other guy.

Re: RIP myfriend

ShagNasty..I agree with ya 100 percent..I just started at 58 ...now am 62 and would not give it up...But I really watch as does my wife. I've had a couple of close calls . I think its happening much more now due to the fact so many of us ride now a days for one reason or another. many because of fuel cost...never the less we on Bikes can never let our guards down. Our State ( Missouri ) is running a campaign now on the major highways trying to make people a where of Motorcycles. Hope its working.

Re: RIP myfriend

Condolences to you and your family. And of course to the family of your friend.

This has happened to me twice in the last 30 years and each time it's made me reassess my life.Ultimately,i'm a motorcyclist and so i've continued to ride.As hopefully,so will you.
May your God go with you all.

Re: RIP myfriend

Thank you guys for all of your kindness. Only time will heal this hurt.
His wife was discharged yesterday, and was home with family and to her son.
She is a strong girl and will make it. She and her family send there thanks for your kind words. I will keep you informed.
