RIP Greg....and my condolences to his family and friends.
I just shake my head every time I see a post like this. Another rider killed or injured because of a careless driver. This is a terrible thing that happens almost every day. I think it would happen several times a day if not for the rider paying attention and being able to avoid these careless/clueless drivers. Sometimes it is not possible to avoid a collision with a vehicle which has just turned into your path. There is no way to get them off the road. Some way, some how, drivers need to be made aware that there are a lot of bikes on the streets and the drivers need to be aware that they need to ALWAYS look harder, or look twice, for a motorcycle. ride safe |

Sorry to hear about this, my wishes to the family. There was a news story this morning about the high number of motorcycle deaths this year in san antonio so far, 18. The story listed careless drivers as one of the 3 main causes along with drinking and not wearing helmets. There needs to be tougher penalties.
