I never met him but I visited two of his stores on a recent vacation. One was in Salem, MA and one was in Boston, MA. The stores were in places with a lot of foot traffice and they just sold clothes and HD goodies - No motorcycles. Pretty smart. Don't make the customer come to the dealership - put little retail stores where the people are. It's a shame he's gone.

The media article wasn't clear where he was coming from and going to. However, since they mentioned that he had left an event in Colorado and going to an event in South Dakota, I'd say he was on his way from the HD annual dealer's meeting to Sturgis.

Man this is just to hard to believe. I remember when they first opened Destination Daytona. It will be different now. I hope we have a huge turn out this Biketoberfest.

Sad news indeed. Mr. Rossmeyer was a friend to RoadLoK and we will miss him. R.I.P.

Why should the 75 year old guy rot in jail? How do you know it was his fault. From what I read in the article Bruce was passing him while he had his turn signal on to turn left. Sounds more like a biker at fault!!! RIP though Bruce.
