An American soldier died today

An American soldier died today (6-24-09).
I do not know his name.
His country called him and he answered with his life.
He did not squander billions of dollars
nor did he sleep with little boys.
Was he acknowledged on the news?
Was his picture on national television?

An American soldier died today.
I do not know his name.
He is the one the nation should be mourning,
I will mourn for him and his family.
I will remember him and his sacrifice!

Amen, Glod Bless everyone of the troops that serve. I wished all the politicians, movie stars, sports players, media and wall street thugs that exspect the millions of dollars that they have in order to survive in the comfort that they have come to know. Let them spend just one day in harms way and then see what sacrfice these men and women give !!

As the 4th of July is around the corner lets all stop and say a quick prayer for our fallen brothers and sisters that served and gave all.
God bless them and America
