Terrible

If my experience is any indication, this cover over time will damage your kindle causing cracks in the plastic on the left side. My Kindle still works, but I am very disappointed to have these cracks in it. At least when it is out of the cover, the cracks mostly disappear.

I have the similar case for my Kindle II and there have been no problems. With the DX it is VERY problematic however.

Cover for safety

I love my cover. I feel much more confident that my book is safe. It is light weight and folds over to stay out of my way when I am reading. I am very glad I purchased this cover.

cover damages Kindle

I absolutely love my Kindle DX and was very pleased with the black cover, until my Kindle cracked across the top latch...when you hook the Kindle in, it make a bump and I don't care how you open it, it applies constant pressure on the plastic edge of the Kindle and eventually it cracks. I was sent a new product and am very happy with the service, but I bought a new cover on Amazon, it simply holds the Kindle in with 4 corner straps, it comes in beautiful colors and I am very happy with it.

The cover for the Kindle was as advertised. It was easy to install and seems to protect the Kindle just fine. For the price, I think it is a good buy.

This cover is easy to connect to the dx and seems to protect the face of the kindle well.
Ir is smart looking and easy to handle but I wonder how long it's center binding will hold.
A pocket on the left hand side to hold other papers would have been useful.
I also feel it is a bit costly.
