Protects my Kindle

This case is more reasonably priced than other cases (including Amazon's own). I can now put my Kindle in my backpack without worrying about it getting scratched. It is relatively lightweight and not overly bulky. I'm not sure why some people are fixated on the smell. Of course it smells like neoprene because its made out of neoprene, but I had to put my nose inside the case to notice.

This is a no-frills holder which provides very good protection for my kindle. I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money but I did want something with ample protection. This cover fills the bill. I'm not looking for something to impress, such as real leather. I am very pleased with this purchase.

After reading so many reviews for this products, and mainly the bad ones, I decided to buy it along with my Kindle 2. In fact I was stuck between buying something that would rip my Kindle apart or something that would might stink as hell as some of the reviewers had told. Well, I decided to go for the odor piece since this is one thing that was reported based only on one's senses and this can vary a lot.
To my surprise, my piece is perfect and has no different odor than any regular neoprene piece should normally have. The zipper works fine, it has a tight fit and protects my Kindle.
In a nutshell, it does what it's supposed to do and I am very pleased to have made the right choice.

The Belkin Neoprene Kindly Case is nice. The Kindle fits well inside. I had expected to be able to place the Kindle inside and have it sitting there. Then I would open the case on three sides and be able to read while either leaving the Kindle in the case or take it out. As the Belkin case only opens with the zippers on two sides, you have to take it out every time you want to use it and leave the case lying around. Not optimal. From the quality perspective, this is good Belkin quality and the feeling is good.

I originally ordered the Amazon Cover at the same time I ordered my Kindle 2 but cancelled that when I read reviews about cracked Kindles! I ordered this case and I love it!! It had no 'bad smell' problems and no zipper problems at all. It's a great case and I would recommend this to anyone who buy the Kindle 2.
