Customer Reviews: Whaddaya want? They're utility blades! By amphibiac (the swamp) \| March 1, 2010 There are better blades that last longer and don't break as easily, but they're much more expensive. If you're just scoring sheet rock, these are fine. If you're cutting fiberglass shingles, plan on going through a lot of these. If you need a tough blade that holds its edge for a while, step up to the bimetal or some other high-quality blade. love buying in bulk! By M. They are worth every penny and then some! I have tried cheaper brands, but they fit poorly and dulled quickly. I wouldn't even consider using anything but genuine Stanley Blades in my utility knife. They always were and still are the best.
