Most have been the steel handled varitey and most of them have had the driver break away from the handle after limited use. I am thrilled with this screwdriver set. I have used it to repair two sony laptops, an acer laptop, a nikon digital camera, a sony digital camera, an RC helicopter, and other various small repairs. All the tips on this set are still solid and useable, which I can not say of other precision screwdriver sets of similar cost. I expect to use this set for several more years. I will probably find a high quality 00 philips screw driver in the future if I have to take off the bottom of my macbook pro again. Maybe I will give this set away to a friend or something lol.
