Cheaper to do it yourself
By H. Williams (California)  |  March 2, 2010  | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a really great gift idea! However, I would recommend that you do a little internet research, find candy from the era that you are searching for and get it yourself. (The candy in the box can still be bought in stores in most cases.) Then, buy some spray paint and paint a shoe box or something similar to package it in. Still has the same effect, plus it's home made, and it won't cost you $50.

I can't think of a candy more indicative of the 90's! Come on now, how can you forget the Warheads??

$10 of candy for $52 shipped?
By G. Ludwig (TN)  |  September 11, 2009  | 27 out of 31 found this review helpful
Maybe nice for nostalgia, but is it worth the price of getting majorly ripped off? Its $30 plus a whopping $22 shipping... huge ripoff. I wouldnt recommend people pay for this unless you enjoy throwing your money away.

HORRIBLY disappointed!
 July 31, 2008  | 32 out of 32 found this review helpful
I recieved this for Christmas last year, and was extremely grateful. However, this box did not contain about HALF of the candy that was listed, (yes, I double checked!) especially the stuff I really wanted, like the stamps and blocks and mamba.

Loved it

This was a great gift for myself, I told my mom about it and she wants a 1960's one, she loved the idea of having her favorite candy again.
