As any parent of babies knows, sleep is a precious, precious commodity. Scores of books and articles have been written on the subject, and one of the first questions any parent will hear, after "How cute! How old? Boy or girl?" is, "Does she sleep through the night?" Babies aren't designed to sleep through the night in their early months, but eventually, they can sleep for longer blocks of time. And this is when parents will do just about anything to lengthen those snooze hours. The Sleep Sheep might just be the most effective sleep aid in a parent's tool belt. It sure is the cutest! Standing (or rather, sitting) just 11 inches tall, this cuddly lamb can be attached with Velcro strips to baby's crib. Tucked in its back is an audio box with four soothing sounds from nature: a heartbeat, a spring rainfall, the ocean, and whale songs. Push a button, adjust the volume, and sneak out of the nursery while the Sleep Sheep does its job, playing a full 23 minutes of snooze-inducing sound. Did you catch that? I LOVE this sheep! It's very soft and fuzzy, and you can pick four different soothing sounds. The whales were a little disturbing and not my daughter's favorite, but the other three are great. I love that you can attach this to a crib, or when your baby gets older they can simply snuggle it. The batteries seemed to last for a while, and you can set the volume and the length of play. Loved it!

We bought the Sleep Sheep when our daughter was 2 weeks old ans have been using it for a little over a month. It is even more adorable in person, although I was surprised by how big it is.
The sounds are quite soothing. We like the rain and surf the best. The whales don't seem monotonous enough, and the heartbeat seems weird and unrealistic.
We think this helps our baby fall asleep, but we haven't had a night without it to compare. It does seem to send her the signal that it's bedtime.

This sheep is extremely soft and cuddely. The sounds are great and I attached it on the outside of the crib. GREAT PRODUCT!!! I even got the small sheep as a baby shower gift and it is fantastic for the stroller or if you are on the road. But the bigger sheep is way softer than the smaller version.

Our baby was the type of baby that would fight sleep. She would be horrible to put down. We got the sleep sheep for a shower gift and it is awesome! Her favorite noise is the rain setting. It helps get her calm enough to fall asleep. We also really like that it has a timer...we don't have to worry about turning it off and it lasts long enough for her to fall into a deep sleep. Plus it's soft and cuddly so I'm sure she'll love it whenever she's older. A great product!!!
Couldn't live without it! Perfect gift!
