POS Build Quality
By Jeffrey R. Miner (Atlanta, GA)  |  January 23, 2010  | 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've used Nady helmet intercoms for years as a high-speed driving instructor and they're basically overpriced junk due to very poor build quality. They are very expensive. I have many spare parts and have re-soldered and re-wired the units to keep the earpieces working. The earpiece wires are frail and EXTREMELY low quality. The solders in the unit itself fail where the earpiece plugs in and then you get intolerable noise and feedback. Unless you're very good with a soldering gun, avoid them!

I have used this product serveral times and it works great. For the money it is a very nice product. You could spend a lot more money and get a very small amout better.

Works at advertised
By Robert Q. Watson  |  July 16, 2009  | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For passenger to Passenger it works as advertised. Easy to install into full helmets and it was clear up to 50 mph. Got a little wind noise above that speed.

Positive Product
By B. L. Hendrix  |  September 1, 2008  | 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think they work very well, especially considering the low price. Around town the wife and I have no problem communicating. On the highway (75-80 mph) it gets a little difficult to hear, but not impossible. I wouldn't want to use them without a full face helmet though; with the visor up there is some wind noise in the microphone. They fit well in both our HJC and Joe Rocket helmets. Didn't need to use the velcro, slid perfectly through the slot in the pad around the strap. We have used them three times and at this point I'd say the quality of the product is good, but time will tell how long they'll hold up

Great entry level communication system
By B. - RW (Austin, TX USA)  |  January 16, 2008  | 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
As an instructor at a driving school, I've used this Nady unit for a few years to communicate between driver and instructor through the helmets. It works fine, even in open cars. The controls work out well. The headsets are durable, even when the students rip the headphone out of their helmets by the cord. The headsets have actually lasted longer than the unit itself. The unit didn't start to go out, it would create a loud screeching sound in which I had to hold onto the inputs in case it happened again. Now, about three years later, it works about 70% of the time. I keep it as a backup, but have since upgraded to a Chatterbox unit. But for the price, and length of time I've used the Nady unit, it has worked out well.
