But the good news is if you punch the address in accurately your GPS will update the path if you miss the turn.
Ran into that house hunting. There was a house at 1218 Elm St we needed to look at. When I typed it in, there were addresses that matched 1218 Elm St, 1218 Elm Ln, and 1218 Elm Ct. It displayed all 3 and let me pick which one to navigate too.

One thing I did have issues with is letting go of via points. On one trip, I had several houses set up in a route. We would drive by and decide if we wanted to go through them or strike them from the list. But sometimes, when I went by, it wouldn't register that I was ready to move on. It was telling me how to navigate to the place I just looked at, not the next one. I'll have to figure that one out a bit better or it will drive me crazy!.

Good post, I second most of what you are sharing. There have been times that I felt the unit was not keeping up with my location. Could be me, I've only had it for less than a month.
The fairing mount is nice and the install is very easy with the instructions.
If any one is on the fence, I so go ahead!
Picked mine up from Hales for 599.00

Expensive at $699 or inexpensive for $99 I just saw a Tom Tom with 4.5" screen, spoken street names for $99 at Best Buy. HD riders spend that much for a piece of *bling* or a couple of pieces of HD apparel. Take the time to take advantage of the technology. They are easy to use, and makes trip planning a breeze.

A GPS is definitely worth the price of admission, even if just installed on your windshield, on a $75 handlebar mount or velcro/zip tied to your tank trim. Most have internal batteries which are good for a couple of hours of contnuous use, only need to be lost just once to see the benefits.
