I would highly recommend the Cruiserworks boots. Really comfortable and made in the USA.

"Free Trade". HD has apparently bought into the swindle of "Free Trade". "Free Trade" has been disatrous for the USA and this is one more example. We, as the folks who pay HD's bills, have to force HD to stop buying and selling this cheap Red Chinese crap. I don't buy anything that says "Made In China".

Case closed.

Re: Over priced Cheap boots

I'm in the process of breaking in a custom fitted pair of Wesco boots. I went to the factory to be measured and fitted. I was able to choose all the options I liked.

Sorry for the poor pic.

These did cost a pretty penny but I should never have to buy another pair of boots. Even if I were to trash them, they can be rebuilt by Wesco.

I am very pleased with these.

I can't be too picky about my boots. I buy what I can find in my size. And HD stops at 13. I haven't been in a 13 since Reagan was President.

Re: Over priced Cheap boots

Sometimes you gotta work at it. I was very disappointed to find that Red Wing M/C boots were made in China so I emailed their customer service & asked for a list of boots still made in the US. I was surprised to get an answer & that the list was as large as it was. After checking the list with their web site, I finally settled on a pair of #607 work boots which are made in the US & work for riding. Every pair of Red Wings I've ever owned have fit well & lasted longer than they should have given my level of care. I have two other pair now, one of which is at least 20 years old & the other is about 15. I'll continue to shop for Red Wings as long as they make them in the US.

looks like I am down to redwing or resole my army boots
The newer style amary boots are darn good riding boots.
Them Wesco ones are inviting but I would get mugged for the boots in milwaukee
