oil pump for 117"

Was wondering if i should replace oil pump?I am turning a new 2010flhx into a 117"axtell,t-man,darkhorse motor.Is the stock oilpump enough for this kind of build?thanks for the help in advance.You guys are a great help.

Jims uses the stock Harley oil pump in there 131'' engines and it works great.

The OEM pump is more than enough to handle the oiling needs of that 117".

Never seen a problem with a H D pump, some times its hard to beat THE MOCO

I think the HD pump should be fine, if you are worried about it put a #2 Baisley spring in your pump.

Good choice.
Have built over 30 plus, 117"s, since 12/06, and only once have used another pump,(or cam plate for that matter) and that was at the clients request.
6, 124" in-house at this point, and NONE will recieve a different pump/plate.
That whole thing, is a pile of wasted money.
