Glider and I have been having a discussion about the run out problem on the larger 96 twin cam engines. I thought there may be some interest in the community about this information:

Real world Run out has shown up on some bikes mostly with the 110 mod and ridden hard. 40,000 plus on my 96TC sure it will go another 40 with no problems. These things take on a life of their own next thing every one ever build back to 1903 had the problem. I know a lot of HD owners have not met one yet with a run out issue. |
