Anyone Carry while riding

I'm diehard 1911 fan, but as I get older my Officer SS is getting heavy. I find myself going for my Glock 36. Very hot up here in summer so at times it's stuffed in the tool bag, as weather cools off, I wear a leather concealment vest, works excellent! Leather jacket, inside pocket. BTW, I have a brand new never used Vest for sale, for conceal carry if anyone's interested.

i'm in the UK & the thought of so many people carrying guns just scares the crap out of me.

I understand what you are saying..... BUT ! I can take you to places even in my town... at certain times of the day and would not go there without one. Unfortuntely the scum of the earth somehow is able to secure guns and when they try and open your car door while stopped at the light.... A gun is the only thing they understand... saying "leave me alone"....

It shouldn't scare you unless you're planning to do something stupid.

I like the idea that it's not just the bad guys carrying guns. It really levels the playing field.

What scares me is that some countries disarm thier people leaving them defenseless.

i'm shure you're correct & i agree what you are saying i guess we're just not used to the idea of people carrying guns over here.
there are a few people i know who would be very dangerous if they were allowed to carry a gun.my brother being one of them-now he's a real decent guy but has a very short temper & is a little to enclined to the odd bout of road rage (mind it's always at cagers).
mind the idea of being able to protect my family against "bad guys" is very appealing. over here if you catch someone robbing your house & you have to hit them or restrain them its you who is charged with assault--crazy.

I carry everyday, riding or not. Currently my weapon of choice is a Sig 220 .45 or my Beretta 9mm. Of course here in Arizona a good citizen can obtain a concealed carry permit.

Ride hard, stay hard.

I have a cw permit and always carry, would no more leave my home without it as not have $, drivers license or any other essential. Been carrying for 25+ years with no issue. It's not the law abider you need worry over.

Sig 220, very nice pistol for carry, had one for a couple years. One of best out of box shooters you can get.
