In Tejas, we all carry. In order to pass the Texas Dept. Of Public Safety Motorcycle Course you have to agree to start packin. We still remember how the "Alamo" went down and don't want to get caught short again. It was George Custer who was heard to mumble on his death bed "Hey man, there was two of em down thar."

I'm with Mavagrand...I've been a Police Officer 23 years and I go NOWHERE without a gun. Being a Police Officer isn't what I do, it's what I am. If there ever was a time I could have prevented or kept someone from being a victim, but couldn't because I wasn't armed, I don't think I could live with myself.
I'd rather have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it....

i carry every where i go in fact places that i'm not allowed to carry (bars,banks,couthouse etc.)i don't go in (i send my wife lol)i carry a RUGER LCP .380
in a neat little rear pocket holster.....anybody that doesn't feel the need to carry just watch the evening news for a few weeks straight......look at how many people are attacked/killed for no reason.....outher than to rob them

Posted to this thread way back,, but just got a new Mod.23 glock in .40 with a fine quick release holster as my new main carry weapon. The protection of my family is an obligation, a duty which I accepted upon marriage. My own self defence insures continued protection for my family. No less is acceptable.

Unfortunately, some don't carry because they are following rules set forth by others or themselves. I respect their choice, they should respect mine!

I feel sorry for those that want to carry but aren't allowed to. I don't advocate breaking the law, just changing it.

I carry in every state that honors my permit. Have a concealment vest with 2 pocket holsters that will secure my 45 and make it disappear.

I built that separate addition onto my existing garage for the bike only. It has it's own driveway, doors, and heater, and allows me to work on (polish) it any time of the year. Winter in Indiana lasts way too long!!!!
