Re: Shooting the 40
I have a friend who has an xd40. He kicked my butt at a combat match with it because of my 1911's seven round capacity. His holds something like 13. His times were unbelievable and accuracy was very good. I had good accuracy but had to reload twice as much.

Re: Shooting the 40
Springfield XD40 is a good gun. It fits both small and large hands. Easy to shoot w/o wearing out your wrist out. I still love my 1911 though...best handgun ever made

Re: Shooting the 40
I have an HK compact .40 I love I bought it from a friend who bought it ban spankn' new and couldn't hit anything with it. I shot a 2" group at 70 yards in an indoor range so I bought it from him. I used to have a paraordanance 1911 .45 that held 14 rounds, Fun to shoot but too heavy to carry.

Re: Shooting the 40
I love my 1911, but if I ever were to buy any of the "Tupperware" guns it probably would be an XD in either .40 or in 9mm
