If you took the subject of fire arms you could teach history, chemistry.science, law and others.
So much of were the world had gone has followed right along with fire arms,or been lead by them.
I will say not all of it has been good but for the most part it has been.
I for one had a vested intrest in knowing my weapons well for a long time.
Collecting them will drive you as broke as collecting Harleys .
I you want to pick up a low cost good shooter Look for an enfield 303 do a little research on it's history you may be suprised in what you find.
Not as British as you might think

I'm sticking to my goal of a M1 gararand over everything else. I've got a line on one of the service grade cmp rifles.

Re: Any Military hardware enthusiasts

this is a cool thread to find here. I love my guns as much probably more than my harleys. I started collecting the military stuff years ago. started with the ar s and the colt sp then m1 carbine and the m1a and m14. its as addicting as adding chrome to your bike theres always the next big thing. I got into the hk and uzis. now im doing the belt fed thing just added another 1919 to the collection. but with ammo prices being worse than gas prices its easier to hop on the bike for the weekend.

I'm paying 30 bucks for 100 .45 rounds, The people at the range say that the cost of ammo is supposed to jump another thirty percent.
