I would like a double action one. I have big hands and I didn't like the way the single action colts fit my hand, they were too small.

Cause the morons over here robbed us of our handguns,I now shoot 357 in a marlin underlever.Another exellent piece of American engineering.Its still a world of fun,and like Smitty sez,you can shoot 38 short,and specials as well from it,an obscene amount of fun!

I like my S&W 640. Don't really get off on shooting, but it's a handy little bugger.

Carried a SW M65 .357 for years, usually with +P .38 spl loads because the 60 round qualification course hurt my gunhand and sore hands equals flinch. We were issued the Speer 140 grain loads (about 1400 fps if I remember correctly). I shot the +P loads better and still have the pistol.

I like 357 in both S&W and Sig. I have Pythons in 2" nickle, 4" stainless; S&W 66 in 2" and 340PD (Scandium/titanium) in 2"; and a Sig 239. The 12 oz 340 is a real knuckle buster with 357 rounds so I practice with 38 wadcutter. I figure if I have to use the 340 for its intended purpose, I will never notice the blisters.
