Re: Bullseye gun

You can also really tune in the browning buck mark. I also hear the u-22 Beretta is a shooter.

Re: Bullseye gun

The ruger a great gun and exceptionally reliable. But there is a lot of target pistols out there and pretty much all of them do the job. For the money I'd buy a u-22 Beretta I've heard good things about them. But I know a lot of people who have the ruger and love them.

Sorry about that Keith. I wasn't paying attention. Thought you were talking about a rifle with my response below.

I have a Savage Model 12 in .223 that right out of the box shot < .5 MOA. With the new trigger adjustable down less than a pound, this can be a great platform for a very good target shooter. They are not expensive either.

TQ

Re: Bullseye gun

A lot of your target needs depend a lot on two things: 1) how much money you are willing to spend, and 2) how much accuracy you need. I have a Ruger MKII with the 8" bull barrel. I have added some aftermarket trick stuff like a trigger/sear/hammer combo and a set of good grips. Depending on the ammo I use, it'll shoot as accurately as I need it to.

For some serious competition if you can get your hands on an old High Standard, or the old (pricey) Colt Woodsman match target, you'll have as much gun as you could use.

The Browning Buckmark is a great gun. Not familiar with the Baretta, but they have always made a great gun.

I also have a S&W model 17 that is as accurate as I can shoot.
