Where can you find bullets these days??

I've had a SW22 for years, have plenty of bullets, but my wife and i decided to get some heavier guns - now have a Mossberg Shotgun and a SW 357. We had no problem find and buying the guns, but do you think we can find bullets?

Where are you finding bullets?

Does any have any ideas as why the bullets are so hard to find?

Harold

It has do with the department of defense no longer selling spent brass to ammo retailers in America. They have now have decided instead of selling it to the remanufacturers they will now pay to have it shredded and sold to China as scrap for less than the remans paid for it. The shootist.net had an interesting article about it. I'll see if I can get a link to it. but if you just try the shootist.net you may find it.

Unless your looking to just buy in person, buy online. I would recommend cheaper than dirts website. My brother and I buy alot from them more in bulk and split costs. We are buying .45 & .40 more than anything else. Prices are like gas as of now though. One day one price the next day different. We cant seem to find anything else without going to the actual gun shop.

This country will NEVER take our right to bare arms. Would cause a REVOLUTION.

I agree on the start. However the fact that they could never pull the guns that are in circulation from the owners. Worst case scenario they stop manufactures. In that case how could you cut the jobs for the manufactures in a fluttering economy and expect to be looked at as doing a good thing. I just really feel that the only way they can hurt the gun owners is to do what they are. Charge them so much on the TAX that there is no one who can buy them. (UNLESS YOU WORK FOR AGI AND HAVE BEEN SITTING ON THAT BONUS )
