Too many dealers try to scare the customer/owner with a threat that if you use anything but their Syn 3 oil that it will void your warranty.

Bike Covers - 185 days old
Some have asked about purchasing a cover for their bike. I have used the "Dowco guardian" covers on all my bikes and they are a very good quality as well as priced right too.

Using A Lift - 604 days old
A tip I learned when lining up a lift to service the bike is 2 dots of white paint on the lift arms. One tells you how far you push the lift in under the bike and the other (usually on the cross brace between the lift arms) I use as a reference point like to line up with a seam in the heat shield or a bolt on the exhaust clamp.

Protective Film Removal - 151 days old
I find that some heat applied removes the clear protective coating well followed by some adhesive remover or WD 40 if there is any residue left, followed by a coat of wax.
