Notice how they reflect back to the dealer in the wording below. Speak to your dealer before making any changes using the SE parts and see if they will stand behind you if you add these parts. Some dealers will back you and others will back you only IF they install the parts. It comes down to making the labor rates for themselves. Not all dealers offer the same backing when it comes to a warranty claim. If your dealer backs you and you are on the road and have a breakdown, will the servicing dealer also honor the warranty?

Engine related performance parts are intended for the Experienced Rider only.

These Screamin' Eagle products are 50-state street legal for sale and use on all vehicles, including those that are pollution controlled.
STOP HAND Harley-Davidson motorcycles modified with some performance engine parts must not be used on public roads and in some cases may be restricted to close-course competition. Those performance parts identified with a stop hand symbol are US EPA legal, but are NOT legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled motor vehicles. California guidelines on tampering can lead to substantial fines and penalties.
