Removing Adhesive

To remove adhesive left by the removal of stickers you can use WD40 but the trick is to soak it off not rub cause the chrome will scratch from rubbing. If you need something stronger, you can use thinners on chrome too. Some have used goo gone which you should be able to get in a hardware store.

On paint it would be best to use the WD40 as it will not effect the paint.

Some heat applied will make removal of the stickers/decals a bit easier as well as some dental floss to remove the tank badges on some models.

This also works good for the clear paint protectors found under the seat after a bit of heat is applied to peel them off. Use a hair drier to soften the adhesive first, a heat gun may damage the paint.
