Re: Good Places To Eat
Gotta go with Smitty on that one, HUGE portions too.
My all time fav is the Rockton Bar in Rockton WI. Like steppin' back into the 1880's. Great chicken dinner with portions that rival the Motor restaurant, at a decent price. As a leaving biker put it as I was pulling up- "Been trying for two years to get here...I'm stuffed!" I hear the Friday fish fry and Saturday prime rib is killer as well. They are located on highway 131, half way between Ontario and La Farge. The ride on 131 to get there is just as awesome as the food! Address: S2463 Rockton Loop La Farge, WI 608.625.4395 (I took a business card when I left) |

Re: Good Places To Eat
Both these place provide a low cost meal in a intresting setting. Service could be better but they are about the best in the area. Down side it is a long ride to get there.

Re: Good Places To Eat
This place is a pretty good little place. It's a small bar, cash only, but the burgers are good and the atmosphere is friendly. It's address is 7350 East 200 South. Huntsville, Utah. The biker community around here are usually regulars at this place.

Re: Good Places To Eat
Well if you are travelling North on 1-75 in Michigan, get off at exit 173 (Linwood) Go right a few miles to the light. Hang a left and you will see the restaurant immediately on the right. Can't remember the name but had great breakfast, huge portions and inexpensive.
Also the White Horse Inn in Metamora. Highly reccommend the all you can eat Fish and Chips EVERYDAY!!! |

Re: Good Places To Eat
For Hobbit: Ever do the Turks Head in Cambridge? Great steaks. If they still exist.
In Lake Wales, Fl - the Crazy Cuban, good cuban sandwiches - downtown Lake Wales. In North Kansas City, Mo - Chip Shot Bar & Grill on 1621 Swift St. Outstanding tenderloin sandwiches. Also, the flat iron steak with sides for $9. Biker friendly, member of ABATE. doc
