Put my son on the fatboy today
This may not be a big deal except. My second son is 31 years old.
He rode a honda once in high school. Neither of my sons seemed to have time for motorcycles. Well today I put Walter on my fatboy and after a few mintues of instruction off he went with me following on the RG. Needless to say he has been biten by the HD drug  .I knew if I ever got him on that fatboy he was done for, it work. For all the crome and leather theres master card Giving you 31 year old son his first real motorcycle riding lessons....PRICELESS

That's great, you guys will have a great time tinkering & riding together.
 I'm trying to steer my nephew into the HD shop when he gets time to contribute to the economy. So far, that's his goal, get through training & buy a bike. I'll love it! |

My dad forced me (believe it or not) to ride my own bike. I wouldn't even sit on one before that. He said "get on, your the reason it runs" and I said "NO". Guess who won that argument. Now I'm an addict!

Both my sons came up on dirt bikes.First,a centrifugal clutch Yamaha Pee Wee 50cc.Then a 5 speed Suzuki DR80 and then they cadged rides on the fleet of bigger dirt bikes and quads that comprise the family fleet.
And then one of them bought a brand new Kawasaki 250 road bike.(all he is allowed to ride under our laws).He's been on rides with our 3 Harleys in a sort of protected environment and i believe that has been good for him. But i STILL dont like him on a bike |
