Re: Radar detector

I've seen small one's that run off batteries if you don't want wire to mess with.

Re: Radar detector

Can you hear it beeps?. With all the wind and noises around me, I don't think I'll be able to hear it.

Re: Radar detector

A federal ruling makes it unconstitutional for a state to make a radar detector illegal.

Re: Radar detector

Have the HD Escort with HD mounting. Works like a champ. The mounting has a 11/2" speaker. Has adjustable volume and has outlet for earpiece. You can dim lights, has all radar bands. It is detachable, so when you park, you can take it with you. Had the stealer install the unit as an option on my streetglide. Loving it when you go faaassssst.

Re: Radar detector

As the warning beeps come through a speaker, not from the unit, it is so loud that when in traffic, other people are looking at you. I run true duals with monster ovals.
