Well after about 2 weeks, half a tub of mothers mag & aluminum polish, a dozen polishing pads for my dremil tool, I can finally see a reflection in the right sides of the rocker boxes, the headlight hood, the backs of the guage covers. Progress is slow, I spent 2 hours after work polishing one side of one rocker box. I can see it will be worth it when it is all done. I haven't been able to stick with it however, Michigan weather has re-appeared, dumping 15 inches of snow where I live. The reason this effected the harley project, a day was spent pulling my car out of a 4 foot deep snow drift. I can't wait to get back on that bike. I'll keep all of you posted on it's progess.

I finally had to replace the grips on it, Dry rot and old age finally got to them. It turned into quite a project, I finally got done around 2:30 a.m. and things were testing my patience.
